I think their selection for the video was down to two things. Firstly who was available (& maybe lives locally),  combined with who was the least likely to draw negative comments.

That makes much more sense than my reason but it’s still a good front 3

To my untrained eyes the blue doesn't look right although that might be the photo. I get why they've put the red zigzags on it like the old strip but think the execution of it is a bit clunky. Not as good as the one you had with the steeple logo across the chest and not something I'd immediately say was a classic IMO. And before anyone says anything about our kits, the three we've seen so far - away and 2 × goalkeeper kits - are all awful too.

All the new sportswear is a good improvement, and I think the new home strip is rather dashing.
A lovely new pitch, three decent signings and some really nice sportswear. Surely a good omen for the new season………………

Or relegation...

Hope the new legends don't turn out to be new bellends

I think the formula is simple. Win the league at a canter = heroes. f**k it up like last season = bellends.

No legend status for winning L1.

Loving the new strip, and I love the red content. For me, it’s how it should be, and distances us from the Dundee and Raith Rovers offerings. There is plenty in our history justifying the amount of red, and it really sets us apart from everyone else. Love it.

That colour of shirt is navy blue which is our colours 👏🏻

Dundee are dark blue & some of our kits have been way to close to that lot imho. Not helped by Puma insisting they created a “Falkirk Navy”….it was Dark Blue, very Dundee.

Only 8 seasons with red on the tops on our 147 years

There has been red trim on the shorts and red socks but your assertion there is plenty of history of red on the tops in incorrect.

I make it 20 seasons with red on the tops and 67 seasons with red somewhere on the kit. However, I am not a fan of red being included in our kit anywhere.

Because of Council regulations?

I believe the council insisted on some red to represent their labour majority.
