Thank you.
Raidernation
To get the thread back OT, has anyone ever been to a place that gives you heebie jeebies? Went to the places near the Somme on a history school trip when I was younger & it felt eerie AF. Been to the Gettysburg area too which was creepy.Dava moorGlencoe Culloden All 3, when away from the roads and other people are places that have made my hairs stand up on end.

There was a wee pond half way through the moor at the side of the road which had a moving island. Every time you went past it the c**t had moved.
Shandon Par
Years back in flat where a couple of people had died in a fire. It had all been renovated after the event but just being in it alone with the place empty felt so oppressive.

I worked in a wee flat that a nun had died in, she had died and had been lying on the floor for sometime before anyone had noticed anything wrong. Since she had been there for so long she had started to decompose and there was a big shape on the floorboards of where her body had been. That was a bit horrible. Kind of walked around about it when working in the flat.

Joking apart, not really. I'm a bit of a boring rationalist. The only one I can think of was when I was about 15 or 16 and went to Mary King's Close. It was a bit creepy when I went but it was before it was commercialised and they only opened it for school visits.

Dan Steele
Been mentioned already, but Culloden and Glencoe both unsettle me. Worked a summer at Storrs Hall hotel in Bowness on Windermere where spooky things happened. A couple of staff left because of "ghosts" and strange happenings.

Speaking for myself, I can't say either of them 'scared' me. However, I definitely felt an...atmosphere. Hard to describe but just a bit eery. Spoiler Nothing scares me. I'm a hard b*****d. Spoiler Except clowns. Obviously.
