I am going to wait and see the team news and see if Bent and Agbonlahor are still out as they looked absolutely toothless without them against liverpool. They also looked dodgy at set pieces and big mertesacker, although pish, could do a job on them if they continue. I think Agbonlahor was suspended but not sure if it was just for one game!? choirbairn Posted December 20, 2011 Share Posted December 20, 2011 I'm not playing any more Wiped out due to a crap weekend, starting on Friday Attempt Six £10 on Barnet v Cheltenham (2.30) Drew 2-2 Then, on Saturday, Attempt Five £20.40 on Montpellier (2.03) v Toulouse Drew 1-1 Followed by, on Sunday Attempt Four £30 on Standard Liege (1.87) v Genk Drew 0-0 Attempt One £41 on Napoli 1.86 v Roma Lost 1-3 And finally, Monday Attempt Two £23.05 on York (1.87) v Kidderminster Lost 2-3 Very annoying, after a good start, for things to go south so quickly. Especially annoying that I had a couple of trebles up on Saturday that included teams like Hull, Gillingham and especially Schalke (won 5-0) who were just below or just above evens. What it has done is strengthen my belief that, for me, small stakes to (try to) win big is the way to go. Good thread, though, and I'll probably have another go at some point. Aufc Posted December 21, 2011 Share Posted December 21, 2011 Attempt 1 20 quid on Leeds versus (cant mind) returned 40 40 quid on lazio versus (cant mind) returned 72.50 72.50 On Hull versus Millwall returned 133 quid. 148 quid has been lumped on arsenal againast aston villa return 260 The extra fifteen quid is from where I bottled sticking it all on man city and instead put just 20 quid on it and got 35 back! I lost all my profits for a previous fortnight in a few days thanks to all manner of late goals (about £75 in total) and just nothing was coming in at all. But in the last week or so I've built myself back up to a reasonable sum and hope I can sustain it a wee bit longer this time. Don't lose the faith and go back to unlikely accys! Alloa also seem to draw alot at home, notably dropping points at home to us, Peterhead and Shire. Wouldn't touch them in a million years with that amount of cash.
