11thHour
Terminator: Genisys - 6/10. Jason Clarke was absolutely shite as John Connor, Jai Courtney was not too bad as Kyle Reese - First time I've seen him put in a decent performance. Emilia Clarke was meh as Sarah Connor. Thought Arnie was solid throughout.
Dee Dee
The Thing 9/10 One of those films I haven't watched in a while. I forgot how all out tense and terrifying this film was. The scene with the dogs is one that isn't going to leave the back of my retinas any time soon. "Yeah f**k you too" might just go down as one of my favourite film quotes ever. Top film, an absolute classic. The chair scene is my, personal, favourite.
KnightswoodBear
Top film, an absolute classic. The chair scene is my, personal, favourite. That clip ends just before my favourite line from that film "I know you gentlemen have been through a lot, but when you find the time, I'd rather not spend the rest of this winter TIED TO THIS FUCKING COUCH!"

sergie's no1 fan
Celtic Pride 8/10 No it's not about them it's a film about the Boston Celtics Basketball team. They are going for the NBA championships and are up against Utah Jazz with one of the Wayan brothers starring for them. 2 Celtics die hards ( Dan Akleroyd and Daniel Stern ) take things into their own hands to help their team try and achieve glory. Quite cheesy but it has a few cracking one liners in it, one of my all time favourite films.

MikeyVanBasten3
Top film, an absolute classic. The chair scene is my, personal, favourite. Such a claustrophobic film. This slightly edges Halloween as Carpenters best imo. Plus it's got Mr diabetes himself in it
Mark Connolly
Legend of Barney Thompson. Excellent performances from Carlyle, Winstone and Emma Thompson. Very funny film - 8/10

Ex Machina
10 Cloverfield Lane - 6/10 This was a solid 8/10 film all the way through for me until towards the end which I thought was so dreadful it knocks two points off. Goodman played his role perfectly imo.

Scary Bear
Mad Max: Fury Road 5/10 They went a bit too far. I much preferred the originals, which were classics. This just felt like it was trying too hard. Instantly forgettable.
Christophe
McCabe & Mrs Miller 7/10 Revisionist western, it says here. Solid film with a really great last half hour -
JamieT1314
The Big Short - I think I quite enjoyed it in between my brain melting trying to get my head around the financial market chat. Spent two hours after the film reading up on Equity & Bonds. It was an exciting evening. 7/10.
Christophe
COSMOS 6/10 A bit long, but beautiful and chaotic, although more than a lot of Żuławski's other works. Some hot French dude goes to a farm house and all these animals are being hanged -
KnightswoodBear
Future Shock: The Story of 2000AD. Excellent documentary covering the 30 odd years of the British comic. 8/10
Savage Henry
Into the Woods It's a musical of various fairy stories starring James Cordon. Just let that sink in. -10/10. My telly is lucky it's still in one piece. Was there not an episode of Mrs Brown's Boys on you could have watched instead? Or even a Lisa Tarbuck era You've Been Framed?
Mark Connolly
Was there not an episode of Mrs Brown's Boys on you could have watched instead? Or even a Lisa Tarbuck era You've Been Framed? I agree with Mozza's review. The two shows you mention are top quality in comparison. As would be a feature length Citizen Khan.
MikeyVanBasten3
Whiplash (7.5/10) thought I'd give this a watch since a few mates recommended it. Surprised myself that I quite enjoyed it.....mostly jk simmons insults (reminded me of the drill sergeant in full metal jacket) the young lads determination and dedication was quite lifting. I would've stabbed simmons.......and his family if he spoke to me in that manner.
