Savage Henry
L'Equipe were thoroughly unimpressed by both sides. To be fair, if someone had scored a hat-trick, kicked thirty penalty points and defeated IS in that game, French press would only have given him a 7.Whereas in this country, if a guy wins a line out he gets a 9. Gullane No 4
Warning for West Coasters going to the Italy game on 28th Feb......no trains running Glasgow to Edinburgh, replaced by bus service. . Not sure now if that info is correct, Scotrail seem to be in a bit of a mucking fuddle. Best check for yourselves.
flyingscot
Not sure now if that info is correct, Scotrail seem to be in a bit of a mucking fuddle. Best check for yourselves. The Citylink bus from Glasgow to Murrayfield direct isn't actually a bad way to go.
Bully Wee Villa
Scotland definitely getting better. This is the first time we've still been in contention to win the Triple Crown after the first week since 2011.
PrestersKTID
Only 2 things really annoyed me in the Scotland game. 1 was going for the drop goal when we were basically on their try line, only to miss the kick anyway. and the sheer bad luck of the bounce of the ball especially when russell kicked it up the park and it somehow bounced over his head. invergowrie arab
So, Sunday I see as a real litmus test. if we lose at home to Wales, who despite being hugely talented. i see as the 4th best team in the tournament, then its another year of us and italy in our own mini league. i see this game being full of tries and scotland having the scoring power to just about sneak this. if anyone feels the same you can get 9/5 on Scotland. CK
Good start to the weekend, Scotland U20 had conceded 4 tries to Wales after half an hour and came back to win 36-34.
invergowrie arab
All this time they fanny about with the tmo and still get decisions wrong. Fucking abysmal decision to award England the try.
Savage Henry
All this time they fanny about with the tmo and still get decisions wrong. Fucking abysmal decision to award England the try.I thought so too. But the second or third replay from behind the try line suggests it was grounded .This is going to be a riot. That Joseph guy is some player.
Mark Connolly
I thought so too. But the second or third replay from behind the try line suggests it was grounded . This is going to be a riot. That Joseph guy is some player. The ball hit the ground but there was no way to tell whether or not Vunipola was still in possession. Joseph is decent in attack, but questionable in defence - the Glasgow backs made him look very average in the two ECC games.
invergowrie arab
The ball hit the ground but the other angle shows he loses the ball before that.
invergowrie arab
Anyway it hardly matters. Italy spurning opportunities and their first sin bin is imminent. England will rack up a 30 point margin by the end.
invergowrie arab
Just as an aside I think sin bin should be ice hockey style where the player gets to come back on before 10 mins if a try is scored

Savage Henry
Scotland's women lost again. They did manage a penalty though. Even more of a waste of resources than the sevens team.
