ICTJohnboy
Astonishing the number of US households where, not only is a gun held, but a loaded gun with the safety catch in the Off position.
Cardinal Richelieu
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-46473321 Looks like the arming of teachers has hit a, ahem, fatal flaw. "In the stress of this fake situation, the teacher had accidentally shot both of the innocent "students"." Maybe it would be better training police officers how to teach rather than the other way round. Not really, as the security guard shot dead last month in Chicago was plunked by a copper. https://edition.cnn.com/2018/11/13/us/security-officer-police-shooting-suburban-chicago/index.html And although the copper killed in California, also last month, was shot 5 times by the bad guy, the one to the heart was from a fellow pig. https://news.sky.com/story/california-bar-shooting-sheriffs-deputy-killed-by-friendly-fire-11574475

There was a more recent one but I won't bother linking it, as it was multiple incidents and only one killed outright.
