Dee Man
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34892510 I can only assume the words "at Tynecastle" were omitted from the end of the highlighted part. I think you're giving Brian McLauchlin far too much credit with that benefit of the doubt there.
Miguel Sanchez
The OF will be seething that Falkirk and Alloa have been welcomed down south with open arms.It was still there as of yesterday.
The Master
I think you're giving Brian McLauchlin far too much credit with that benefit of the doubt there. I think you're right. In the match report, he seems to think we equalised against the run of play...despite having had the best of the second half to that point. I've always had the impression that Brian McLaughlin is a Jambo in the way he talks/writes about Hearts. His writings about this game do little to alter that.
South Lanarkshire Jag
I'm going to go against the grain slightly and praise John Barnes for being one of the few to notice Ryan Stevenson's winner wasn't a free kick(our own Twitter got too excited over it!!) That said, Nice of Chick Young to read out three paragraphs of our matchday stats pack on Open All Mics and claim it as his own work.

South Lanarkshire Jag
The Decent Journalism thread for this pish. I was slightly worried that given the scarcity of it, that I would be the thread-setter!
Mark Connolly
Probably doesn't count as journalism as such, but the Sky Sports score centre is still listing our game from yesterday as being at Celtic Park, as does this report. http://www.skysports.com/football/dundee-u-vs-st-jstone/342155
Savage Henry
More a terrible headline than terrible journalism, but the Van Gaal's comments absolutely do not justify the headline. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/34893228

Ya Bezzer!
Apparently Celtic 'could' have had a penalty. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34894590 Looking forward to similar headlines where Ross County 'could' have had a freekick, Kilmarnock 'could' have had an offside and Partick 'could' have had a corner kick. What a load of pish!
lubo_blaha
Sky Sports News just claimed that this weekend's tie between Inverness and Celtic will be a repeat of last season's Scottish Cup final.
bennett
Sky Sports News just claimed that this weekend's tie between Inverness and Celtic will be a repeat of last season's Scottish Cup final. Those Inverness fans had better not be in the box pulling doon Celtic players again.
The Real Saints
On STV last night, a 3-man panel (including Alan Rough) was raving about St. Johnstone. Quite right. However, one of them went on to say that Brian Graham's goals have been the main reason for this season's success.
Gaz FFC
Opened up the sports section of my paper today to be met by a massive piece about Arsenal beating Dinamo Zagreb. A massive piece about Chelsea beating Maccabi Tel Aviv and 2 tiny pieces about the 2 Scottish games last night. The back cover page also tells you the 2 scores from Arsenal and Chelsea but not the 2 Scottish scores. To make matters worse their is an advert for what live English footy Sky has for you this weekend. No mention of Inverness V Celtic. I must've picked up the English version of the paper. Hard to imagine their is any less Scottish football in the London version. Edited November 25, 2015 by Gaz FFC

Nightmare
According to The Sun, we made 4 subs against Kilmarnock. Amoo on for Muirhead, Welsh for Bannigan, Pogba for Kurtaj and Nade for Doolan. Nice of Accies to lend us two players for this match, and for the officials to allow 4 changes.

Dr Koop
What's the big word at the BBC today? Quality. Quality. Quality. Quality. Quality. Quality. Quality. Quality. Quality. (Repeat to fade.)
