Desp
If we were up against Aberdeen every week, van Veen would be worth millions. Who are playing next?
Joey Jo Jo Junior Shabadoo
Can I just shock you? Motherwell are fucking amazing. Despite what we’ve just said earlier.

dezz
Much, much better today. Still not much in the way of quality play, no real complaints on that front given the conditions, but plenty of fight and desire. Thought O’hara was very good especially considering it’s his first game for months.
thisGRAEME
Night and day improvement. Donnelly trying to cement Brown in every single tackle was some laugh.
Swello
That was more recognisably us today - not a 50/50 shirked and played at a fair pace when we got going. Aberdeen going down all over the place trying to win soft free kicks just seemed to encourage us.
Swami
I’d have dropped Donnelly today. I’d have played O’Donnell instead of Mugabi today. Absolutely no chance I’d have been throwing O’Hara straight back into the team after so long out. Not in a million years would I have taken Goss off and put Lamie on. I haven’t got a fucking clue what I’m talking about. Edited February 12, 2022 by Swami
YassinMoutaouakil
O'Hara could be such a good Premiership player, as shown today. I just worry it'll be when he's about 32 and a manager finally figures out his best role in a team.

Along with Goss they have the legs and willingness to cover all the ground in the midfield. Getting out to the full backs and working hard in the middle. I think we should have Slattery in the middle of the 3 because he is the best passer and still a dirty fucker but Alexander clearly doesn't trust him in there although Donnelly hasn't been great either but with Maguire out it feels like Alexander thinks he is the only option. Shaw fucked any chance he had of that role by shiting his pants at Tynecastle.

YassinMoutaouakil
One more thing I enjoyed- KVV berating Efford for taking that shot outside the box that almost found the top corner. You tell him what for, Kev!
thisGRAEME
The temptation to bump that Dons thread from first time we played them this season is so strong.

ropy
You seldom win both legs of a double header although Aberdeen play midweek so perhaps this doesn’t count. Can this be the start of our resurgence?
Kapowzer
Great result after a shitty start. However I'm even more convinced there's something going on behind the scenes between Slattery & Grezza.

Busta Nut
Sean Goss hits a lot of shots but I don't think he's hit the target once recently.
