Shandon Par
He has a nice jacket, a full head of hair, he's driving an interpretation of an Italian design classic. Life was good for that Lada man.

Cardinal Richelieu
I've never heard of "Snegging the gleg" and Google wasn't much use. What does it mean? Is it sniffing Brasso?
tongue_tied_danny
Sniffing glue. It was all the rage back in the 70s and 80s but has now fallen out of favour. Some local shops even sold glue sniffing kits. It is definate jakeball behaviour. ETA - here's the urban dictionary definition. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Snegg the Glegg Edited February 15, 2017 by tongue_tied_danny
tongue_tied_danny
Back in the days of British Rail some of the larger stations had these... The one at Queen Street had this weird set up with high tables and these things that you leaned on instead of proper tables and chairs.

I feel we are spoilt nowadays with all the different football from all over the world we can easily watch now. But as a nine year old in 1994 it was a genuine thrill to get some more football on tv never mind that it was foreign football. Ronaldo, Weah, Maldini, Del Piero, Vieri, Baggio, Lee Sharpe - it was a genuine thrill to watch the players play. Yep, the Milan team was one of the best of all time. The entire program was class. The suave presenter and the commentary from Peter Brackley with decent backup from Wilkins and co. always thought it was goooool laziiooo though which made no sense really big tomato, and potato gooooool lazzziiooo
