Wonder if Hearts will let him go ? Clearly a good defender and wing back is that his second or third goal Vince.

Second goal Ian, his first was another rocket from outside the box against QOS. He's under contract at Hearts for another year I think so it might not be possible to get him on a permanent deal, unless we pay a fee. Depends if Hearts see him in their plans for next season.

Liam Smith has done well, was often quite reluctant to shoot, but seems to have changed that recently. My criticism on him would be the quality of his final ball, Eckersley and Stelios put in better crosses. Work on making that more dangerous and he'd be a cracking player.

Got to agree with this. Liam gets into great positions and often can get a shot away but he passes instead. And his crossing can be woeful. But sort that out and he would be worth a few bob. Hopefully he waits until he signs a permanent deal with us before he gets it sorted :)

So Liam Smith, Kyle Magennis and Lewis Morgan in the U21s. Do we play or call off the Falkirk game now?

We call it off, there's no way we should be going into any game in the run in with a weakened team.  We've got a league to win and we need all of our best players available.

Agree we want as many points as possible the game will need to be moved again.

Did we not request this date ?

If so does this cause problems.?

Don't think it'd cause problems as we've three players called up so should get it postponed no problem, and both Falkirk and ourselves have played our full compliment of games so far, so plenty of available dates to reschedule I'd imagine.-

10 points ahead of Livi with both of us to play 9 games. They need us to lose 4 and win 4 more than us.

If United win their 3 games in hand they will be 8 points behind but we have superior goal difference. We still have to go to Tannadice.

More importantly for us Dobbie was subbed off with an injury last night which directly effects our game with Queens on Saturday.

The 3 up front worked a treat as it prevented the Pars' centre backs from coming forward

LOL wut? Qots played 1 up top against us and our centre backs came forward the exact same amount as what they did in the St Mirren game.

Funnily enough our centre backs don't make long, deep runs from there centre back position up to striker. Haven't all season and I can't see us doing it anytime soon.

Remember United are playing every three to four day's until the end of the season that is a huge ask. Our players can now see the light at the end of the tunnel that in it's self will put a spring into our players foot and mind would not surprise me if we win all our next games coming to the end of the season knowing you have a real chance of winning the title to play in the premiership is one powerful tool.

Wrong. Our board had incredible foresight that the country would be under a couple of foot of snow that week.

Unfortunately, they didn't have the same foresight to think we may have players on international duty that weekend. Not as if we've had the same three called up before this season...
