John Blair, who scored the only goal in a poorly attended Cup Final against Rangers, is sitting cross legged in the front. The semi finals (Thistle's went to 3 replays) had been seen by 190,000 spectators, yet under 30,000 watched the final. Gate takings were just over £2,800, entrance price having been doubled to 2s (10p) from the previous season's final, where Killie triumphed (see killiepiemuncher's post above).
