That could well be a bye to the fans.

I think it is , and hope that’s  the end of signings from there unless McAdams is on the radar

Tbf Morton's defence conceded the 3rd least amount of goals last season so the defence obviously wasn't too bad.

Only thing is look at Jack Baird who we poached from Morton who all the fans were devastated to lose to us and look how that turned out...

Houston, McCallister, Baird, Muirhead, Lithgow, Fjortoft, Reading. Would be pretty happy with that as our potential defence, important to get a good commanding keeper along with them.

If we do end up with 5 defenders who can potentially play CB we're definitely playing a back 3.

Scott Fox has been "invited back for pre-season" by Motherwell but not offered a new deal yet. Him and a decent young keeper looking to fight it out for a first team place would be a decent option. He's always been a fairly reliable goalkeeper.

Think that could possibly suit us. Houston and Reading providing the width. There’s not many decent wingers out there and you just have to look at how poorly our big signings last year turned out. A couple of decent strikers and centre mids and 532 would suit I think.

Salkeld on the right chalmers on the left with Murdoch in the middle of a three in midfield?
