The fact it took 70 minutes for the first substitutions (which he must have drawn out a bag) when we were so over ran in midfield made QOTS look good.

It did come across that way. Particularly where he said that he'd tried lots of different combinations this season but none of them had worked. As if he were some independent bystander, commentating on events that he could not influence or control.

I could accept a lack of creativity given our squad but there is absolutely no way that so-called professionals should be unable to defend corners.

That was under Hopkin though.

The Duffy led masterclass takes things to a whole new level of incompetence. 

He has somehow managed to take a David Hopkin assembled squad and made them look worse than even the inventer managed. 

That takes some doing.

So out of the last 4 games we were looking at as must wins, all teams around us, we have managed to accumulate 2 points out of 12. We know go into a run of 4 games against teams all at the top end of the table, which everyone will agree we will get spanked in. That takes us up to the 15th of Jan when we have Morton, Hamilton and Dunfermline. Really need new signings in early and for them to hit the ground running. Only hope is that by the time of the Morton game we are not cut adrift and still in the hunt....to not be relegated.

If these last 4 games have been about damage limitation for Duffy, f**k knows what he's got planned for the next 4.

Aye I won't argue you were absolutely terrible but Dunfermline weren't much better a few weeks ago and we scraped past them. We were very good today as well as Ayr being pish.

The first goal was outstanding, McGinty leaves his man and leaps to win the ball unchallenged, which is a clear 2 feet over his head. His man placed the ball in the bottom corner. 
 

The second and third looked like Fjortoft was completely ball watching.

Two centre halves, a right back, at least one wide player, two central midfielders and at least one striker is an absolutely huge ask for January, but it’s what we need.
