Posted December 20, 2021 Share Posted December 20, 2021 Mathie keeping his cards close to his chest, stated though he's got names in mind and has already said to the board and from reading between the lines has been given the all clear to advance further with those targets. Also mentions too about approaching clubs for people currently in employment. Think he was pulling a bluff by saying it could either be a young coach or experienced one to avoid people doing 2+2 and coming up with 5. Also says he spoke to the senior players about what coach in the past has got the best out of them, i'm sure Uncle Ian wouldhave been mentioned there by likes of Moff and Murdoch... Process, numbers and accountability driving decisions that will make things more professional. Sounded very corporate and different from a lot of the characters in the game. Any of the 4 might not be interested or priced out the market.
