@Zen Archer (Raconteur) - I believe there's a term for this?

If it’s English, there is a term “linguistic racism”.

If it’s French, it’s called being my ex…she had a a French degree and always complained my French was spoken incorrectly, to which I say “Really, I was taught French by a Jamaican while living in a place that spoke Creole, are you surprised?”

Walking down Union St yesterday.

Large group of teens hanging around outside McDonalds and  as a police van passed I heard the phrase,

'Chill, it's the Feds'

Anyone referring to a member of Police Scotland, especially ones sat in a Ford Transit deserves beaten to death with a 70s style wooden truncheon

Heard my 12 year old call them "The Po-Po".

Apparently that's what everyone in the school calls them.

I'm sure I remember Zen liking the "razy lacism" line, although I'm wondering if it wasn't @Melanius Mullarkay now.

Hell with it; let's blame both of them!

I'm sure there was a study that claimed putting on an outrageous 'Allo 'Allo accent actually helps foreigners to understand what English speakers are saying  :lol:
