Quite a few excellent chances but they had no luck in front of goal. Even if Buckie don’t win that and Brechin win their games they’ll still be within 3 points of each other going into the game. The only team that can fuck it up being a last day decider is Brechin. Remaining fixtures before the last day shoot out - Brechin have Fraserburgh (H), Clach (A), Keith (A) Buckie have Formartine (H), Strathspey (A) Buckie will beat Strathspey so that’s another 3 points for them. Brechin will beat Clach and Keith so that’s 6 points for them. Their game in hand with Fraserburgh is the key one. Given that Clach have very recently taken points off Fraserburgh and BoD, I wouldn't necessarily say that an away win in Inverness is a mortgage banker. Fraserburgh game next week is just as important as the Buckie game. Fail to win that and it'll be a case of going to Buckie just to witness their championship celebration. Great fun. Simple fact of the matter is that if Brechin can't beat Fraserburgh in two attempts (or drop points to Clach in a vital game) then they have absolutely no right to promotion. If we only draw against Fraserburgh and win the other two games. We go to Buckie within three points of them. Win there and we win the title.
