I’d be pretty surprised if we didn’t finish between 5th and 8th tbh. Anything else would be a little too close to exciting.

Not a chance are we worse than Partick and QoS. We should comfortably finish above those two, definitely. No where near consistent enough to get top 4. 6th/7th seems the most likely outcome.

6 points later I think we've somehow ended up safe.

Is anyone consistent enough apart from possibly us at this moment in time and we are still not in them?

6 teams are absolutely in the mix for the playoffs

If any of those teams were to win 3/4 in a row, it will either cement their place in the top 4 or push them right into it.

Should be a cracking run in.

QoS are nosediving straight to 10th. A truly terrible team, but Partick’s utter sham of a squad may save them from automatic relegation.

Not a chance Partick are stopping our relentless charge to 10th!

You'd have to say that McCall has more than AJ.

Have the Queens players chucked it?

Managers signings have been very poor & the team seems very disjointed, not one playmaker in the squad.

We've had the same discussion about AJ's signings in his time with us. Say what you want about Crawford but his recruitment has been a lot better than AJ was.

Will struggle to replace the loan boys and Nizzy of course come the end of the season.

That’s what you get for chucking all your money at some puffing, has-been ‘marquee forward’.

Authentic city street food is somewhat thin on the ground in Clackmannanshire.
Anyway, hoping they win today. We're not lucky enough for Morten to somehow end up in the bottom two at the end of the season but it would be great if Alloa weren't.

Take it you don’t like Morton [emoji99]

ach, don’t bother about him. He’s only jealous because the nearest thing to a “big” Morton signing in his lifetime has been Garry bloody O’Connor.       🙄

Erm yes - in the dying stages of Saturday’s match, as Queen of the South were getting dicked 0-4 in front of about 200 home fans left, I was simply furious that we too hadn’t made a ‘big’ but fundamentally useless signing.

You slaverring moron.

Having seen how we played on Saturday we should be nowhere near this battle but I’ve been stung too many times over the past couple of seasons to be sure.

I am comforted by Queens throwing in the towel completely.

Win our game in hand over Partick and we really shouldn't be anywhere near it come the end of the season. 40 points SHOULD be enough this season, but not counting my chickens.

Imagine if we could perform against part-timers and get results against Inverness when we really should be?
