Curate the perfect PnB filtered echo chamber if you must - and as site owner/moderators you are entitled to do - but that then self-fulfillingly diminishes the forum experience for everyone. There are plenty of ‘weirdos’ everywhere. Banning those that don’t conform to your ‘cool guy’ views and you’ll then bemoan why your site has faded to a Tam Cowan version of the 50 shades of beige… Be careful what you wish for.
