Why pretend otherwise? Even saying something like there will be people all across the country who are concerned would be better, as that's accurate. It doesn't say how many people but covers that there will be folk in all four of the countries who make up the UK who are sad royalists. I don't care for the monarchy and find it deeply distasteful and full of utter weirdos and criminals of all sorts. But most of all, the death of an elderly stranger is absolutely none of my business. It's culture wars shite, trying to make on there's one strand of opinion in the country. The majority love the monarchy / the Queen, a fair amount don't care, and a small number fucking hate it.
