Absolutely horrific pictures from some of the places recaptured by the Ukrainian military. Shot civilians lying where they fell, decapitated civilians. Just appalling savagery.

The Russians also seem to have left a lot of their dead where they fell. The airport at Hostomel, which they controlled for several weeks is now back in Ukrainian control and there are bodies of Russian troops lying openly decomposing. Just terrible.

Ukrainian forces have reportedly discovered a mass grave with 200 bodies in it in Bucha. There are photographs of numerous executed people with their hands tied.  Some suggestion that in some places all males aged 16-60 were killed. There are also families killed in this way.

There's been a concerted effort to portray this as all Putin's doing since day one, part of the dumbed-down media where America is Biden/Trump, France is Macron, Britain is Johnson etc. The truth is this invasion (that started in 2014) is the action of the Russian State and the mass artillery bombardments of cities, the missile strikes and aerial attacks on apartment blocks are the actions of Russian officers whilst the rapes, murders and executions of civilians are down to ordinary Russian soldiers - along with the looting.  Despite all this, it's reported over 70% of Russians support the war. 

 

The Russian State must be defeated and no-one should forget the explicit threats to use nuclear weapons. When their dogs have been forced out of Ukraine, the sanctions must continue if not tightened to reduce Russia to the point where it's economy is destroyed and it can no longer threaten anyone again.
