Mark Kerr is training with us. Not sure if he played the reserve game or not.

Mark Kerr did not play in the reserve game.

We have had a ex Rangers player training with us. Ali Berry has been playing with the under 19 team and playing for the reserves.

Ali Berry is 16 and has played part of the season with the 17's and part with the 19's. He's been with us for years and is a fully registered youth player but did have a brief five months with Rangers last season.

Yes Ali Berry has been playing with the 19's, as I understand they have had one of their normal central midfielders out injured for a few months, though I think he is also qualified to play at U17.

Well yes, as I said, he's 16.

Nick Cassidy has been out most of the season with a cruciate injury whilst Luke Hammond has also been injured most of the season and recently departed and joined Annan Athletic. The 19's have been very short in central midfield at times.

Having had a quick look at stats I'm guessing he's a defensive midfielder? If so, I would agree it's a waste of a wage with us having McKenna in the team and Young maybe back soon (unless he is going to be out longer than we thought?) Time will tell of course and he may be a decent addition for us.

I'm amazed that Mark Kerr lasted so long between newly promoted clubs. He might be decent at this level, but he's been widely wrote off before by fans of past clubs. Part of the Aberdeen squad when we pumped them out of the cup. A laughable contributor alongside Jerel Ifel.

Good on Championship Manager 01/02 though...
