Credit where credit is due: the completely ineffective substitutes were at least made before the game was beyond salvage this time.

McAleer is like that guy at fives who continues to think he's far better than he actually is, especially when dribbling.

Yes it does but in the context of tonight's game, I'm not so sure there is an arguable point you have that is particular.

It's a shitty night and Arbroath is renowned for being a cold ground and the best of times. It's a 5 hour trip. The Ayr fans have the option to watch it on tele.

There's no argument there? Really?

I’d be happy if mcaleer never played for us again. Absolute shite. Should have brought bryden ir smith on imo they offer far more

JML and McKenzie 2 on 1 v Little and him just standing still and taking it off them like they were a pair of 6 year olds just sums everything up.  This has been absolutely pathetic from Ayr.

Hard to believe we’ve just given McKenzie a 2 year contract.

Giving young players time to develop is fine. The problem is that next season he'll be either the first or second-choice goalscorer.

Three degrees max of a difference across the championship grounds tonight.

Three degrees or five hours ...  you decide
