Final Day: Raith Rovers vs Thistle - Friday 5th May 2023

Recommended Posts

With us now having a legitimate chance of finishing second on the final day I’m excited for this fixture.
Not sure if Raith having nothing to play for is a good thing or not for us.

Regardless, I’m looking forward to the game. Roll on next Friday.

Thank You.

You'll be fine we had 13 players available today, 2 coming back next week bit I wouldn't expect many more coming back.

As this is on a Friday night will Rovers be offering PPV? I'm a bit far away to make it before anyone says just go.

Likely they will…RaithTV is pretty goods about it…probably news on it by Wednesday, one way or the other.

We’ve been lying doon for a month. Last time we played was April Fools’ Day.

Since then LLLDLL.

Hopefully we have another draw in us.

The heady days of that Queen’s Park win seem a million miles away.

Roll on the end of the season.

Given the way the previous match thread between these two sides went, Scott Brown scoring a late winner for the Rovers would be a good laugh.

In reality, I expect a 2-0 Thistle win.

Never mind the draw. It’s a win all the way to usher in the ‘local consortium’ years. The only way is up (or down, or stagnating knowing the Rovers)

How many are we winning by? I look forward to us finishing the season with a win.

It’s been a good thing for literally every other team we’ve played in the last month. Sure that will continue.

We've not won, in Kirkcaldy, in 7 attempts. That's going back 12 years, right enough.

I'd put that in the not-so-happy hunting ground, classification.

Raith have kicked off, for their holidays early, so an eminently winnable game. This is Partick Thistle, I'm talking about...

Raith 0 Partick Thistle 2
