CambieBud
The clubs who have had fan votes are showing huge results against this farce. Surely this will be voted down. Any chairman voting for this will have to answer to their own supporters

Surely the best vote would be for a proposal to sack the from the SFA and SPFL that are proposing this totally unfair proposal or is £££££ more important than integrity
TheScarf
Who the fuck thinks relegating 200 odd clubs is a good idea? There's some utter fucking moron cunts in Scottish football. Headed up by lifelong loser Ian Maxwell.

Donathan
Is there a single benefit of B teams that wouldn’t also be achieved by simply making more use of the loan system? Personally I’d change the rules such that any player not named among a core squad of 25 players is free to negotiate himself a loan deal with another club in a lower league and the parent club remains responsible for his wages. That would massively discourage the mass hoarding of talent, ensure that players get professional minutes and completely remove the need for B teams. Simple, no. Players on loan can play at a higher level. One of the arguments Hibs made for not getting involved with a B-team in the LL or Conference League was also that players on loan don't just benefit from playing against experienced players, but also with experienced players, which wouldn't be the case in a B-team. For players close to the first team, Hibs feel that reserve team football is better because they don't play at the same time as the first team, so unused first team substitutes can play in the reserves to get some game time. And let's not forget that Hibs have one of the best academies in Scotland. Outside of Scotland, Feyenoord used pretty much the same arguments as Hibs to explain why they didn't get a B-team in the pyramid. They just won the league convincingly with a team full of homegrown talents.

A very good player makes those around him play better.

Well isn’t it obvious that the only reason Scotland beat Spain recently was because of the B teams’ addition to the Lowland League? Clearly if we promote them to the Conference League we will win the next World Cup

Connor7
Preston Athletic confirmed as saying NO. Does anyone have a list of clubs who have confirmed they will vote yes? Seems like the clubs that will…are remaining very quiet publicly. East Kilbride are usually guaranteed to vote for B teams. But Kennedy was always against it when he was at Darvel. Anyone know how they will be voting? BSC Glasgow/Broomhill/Dumbarton Athletic whatever they are called will be a stick on for a yes vote. Ginaro
Falkirk another voting no. So that's 8/42 SPFL voting no, plus another 8 consulting (2 said no). Most of non-league (and those associations connected with them) will surely vote no, makes you wonder where they thought all the yes votes were going to come from (unless they expected some apathy abstentions).

Maybe thought they had the Rangersy and Celticy Juniors in the bag and the SPFL sides wouldn't give a toss being as they weren't trying to bung the B-teams in League 2? I understand the clubs and leagues were told there wouldn't have to be a vote at all though, so who knows went on in Maxwell and co's minds.
