We concede too many set pieces, and aren't great at defending them -

That was a key strength for us last season. Knowing other teams’ frailties at set pieces etc. McPake can be such a WUM and said after winning 0-1 at Falkirk that the plan was to let Falkirk have the ball for 90 minutes as we knew we could score against them from a set piece after Dave McKay had studied them so closely.

Great.

There’s no way you can defend as badly as Falkirk so I wouldn’t worry about it. Unless all your defenders stand at the near post and leave nobody within ten yards of craig Wighton at the back post you should be okay.

Are the tickets on sale for this yet? Can’t seem to find a link

They can be found here

Fwiw, there's no easy option for away tickets on the website. Heading to the section about buying tickets directs right to the home end (which is understandable), but you'd think they'd clearly mark away tickets.

Healthy ex Pars contingent at Raith, could be four starting? Not inconceivable that if Connolly comes back later in the season you could have five.

It would be six: Murray, Millen, Connolly, Smith, Byrne and Ross. With that said, Ross can only have played a handful of games.

Hard one to call, can see this ending up a draw. McCann being available will help and O'Halloran looked decent enough up at United, the week off probably helped us a bit. Genuinely could see Raith winning the league this year.

This pars squad albeit short on numbers certainly don't lack in confidence and team spirit. 4 points from the 1st 2 games has been a very good return, another on Saturday and I'll be happy enough with how we have started.

On the main page you select ‘Tickets & Hospitality’ then click ‘Away Tickets’ and choose the Raith Rovers match.

Not sure how that’s “no easy option”.

Add in the life long Pars fan Potter and I'd see we have fully infiltrated your club. Stand by to activate Pars agents.

Will be some laugh when they kick Murray into the Forth. Let Potterball commence.

Sorry lads, but he's pulled the double agent. He's managed the Pars to their lowest finish this side of the millennium, and also been spoken about in glowing terms while getting our numerous key signings to agree terms over the summer. John Potter is firmly one of the good guys here.
