Biggest game between these sides since the last time we had a massive game at Fir Park ( season tickets akimbo, Sutton and Mehmet). Top of the top league clash and loads of misty eyed pish about huge away supports. Am I correct in saying that Motherwell have only lost that one cup game against us in their last 15 matches going back to April? Very true. The league cup is up there with the Challenge cup. In fact has the league cup started this season. Hardly noticed. I suspect we will do well to keep this down to a 3 or 4 goal defeat what with the all conquering best St Mirren side in years coming to town.
