Probably not as heavy in Glasgow, but Greenock's had hours of the kind of rain that only took 20 minutes to flood the Hampden pitch for hours for the Georgia game.

The rain here isn't as heavy as it was the night of that Scotland game, but it's been on for a lot longer. Worth noting that it's a new pitch now though, which might make a difference.

That's the trains off entirely now and main roads have already been flooded for hours, so even in the extremely unlikely event the pitch is playable no one is getting there.

When you say no-one, maybe no-one outwith 5 miles…roads look bad in all directions. If not flooding, accidents.

QP saying game on as it stands with no current concerns about the pitch

Does the Morton team bus leave from Cappielow for games in Glasgow? That bit gets flooded fairly regularly doesn’t it?

Positive comment.

My take and local update, the back 5 m of my garden is under 4 inches of water. On the night of the said Scotland game it only had some puddles. So I fear rain is currently impacting more today than that night and it's going to continue. So this pitch upgrade must be something special if coping.

Thank God we're no playing in your garden.

On the one hand it obviously shouldn’t go ahead, on the other there’s something grimly intriguing about the prospect of two honking mobs fighting it out in slapstick conditions.

The reason your back garden is under so much “water” is down to the number of Paisley Buddies pissing themselves laughing at Mortens start to the season.

The streets of Paisley reeking of piss checks out I suppose.
