The rain here isn't as heavy as it was the night of that Scotland game, but it's been on for a lot longer. Worth noting that it's a new pitch now though, which might make a difference.
Spider Rico
Mount Florida roads busy as part of Aikenhead Road is flooded, worth noting for anyone making their way here if the game somehow is on

When you say no-one, maybe no-one outwith 5 miles…roads look bad in all directions. If not flooding, accidents. https://www.traffic.gov.scot/traffic-information/incidents Edited October 7, 2023 by Bring Your Own Socks

Spider Rico
QP saying game on as it stands with no current concerns about the pitch Does the Morton team bus leave from Cappielow for games in Glasgow? That bit gets flooded fairly regularly doesn’t it?

On the night of the said Scotland game it only had some puddles. So I fear rain is currently impacting more today than that night and it's going to continue. So this pitch upgrade must be something special if coping.

Skeletar Spider
If opposition fans aren't able to travel then the game shouldn't go ahead. These are fairly exceptional levels of rain, just get it postponed and play it midweek.
EaglesandSpiders
Everyone's talking about how Morton fans can't travel out of Greenock/Inverclyde. What about the Morton team bus? Can they travel or are they already in Glasgow? I mean, as disgraceful as it is, the match can go ahead without the travelling fans but not without the travelling team

an86
On the one hand it obviously shouldn’t go ahead, on the other there’s something grimly intriguing about the prospect of two honking mobs fighting it out in slapstick conditions. williebraveheart
No way this game should go ahead. Safety of fans is obviously not important to SPFL/SFA. Health and safety of players not considered either. Edited October 7, 2023 by williebraveheart

The reason your back garden is under so much “water” is down to the number of Paisley Buddies pissing themselves laughing at Mortens start to the season.

The streets of Paisley reeking of piss checks out I suppose.
