Sir Tarmo
The worst I have ever seen The Caley. Davidson and Longstaff were brutal. Why was Shaw dropped, anyone know?
Guest
Slightly concerned with how Morton have out-worked us in the second half and credit to them for that. Nevertheless, a terrible match whenever the ball wasn’t out for a towel wipe and throw in.
The Ghost of B A R P
That boy Strapp’s a decent player. Sign him up. (Two-year deal for Mullen while we’re at it…)
Mon eh Ton
Less satisfying when it's not against Dodds but a win is a win.

Chippyminton
Absolutely massive result for us. Bottom to 7th still with a game still in hand over Caley and Airdrie. What a difference it makes not having a quarter of your squad out injured. It feels like a real turning point in our season. Mon the Ton.
port-ton
Excellent performance and much more like the Morton of old. We are very good at what we do Strapp clear MOTM and his throws seem even longer now. Inverness couldn't deal with them at all. I was a bit worried when Power came on but I thought he was fantastic as well. We just need to keep this up and pick up a few more wins. We've had good runs under imrie so hopefully this is the start of another one.
Rudolph Hucker
.....and in the last two hours we've gone from bottom to the dizzy heights of seventh. Satisfying.
Janne Lindberg's Laces
I was very sceptical of the team selection before kick off but Imrie got it absolutely spot on. Lots of good performances and nobody was obviously shite. Strapp was very good again. The work rate and pressure to force Inverness into making mistakes was what we came to expect after last season. What a difference having a full squad makes.
ClydeTon
I wonder if the 'Dougie Out' brigade will finally realise it was the injuries that totally fucked us, and not Dougie's attempts to pick 11 out of 14 fit players.

TheGoon
That is as good as we’ve played in I don’t know how long - second half especially. Lewis Strapp is ridiculous, he hasn’t lost a step.
Colkitto
Dougie obviously has done his homework on ICT. He was spot on with tactics and team selection. Players take a lot of credit too as they just never gave up. Strapp, Wilson, Oakley and Power when he came on were simply outstanding. Probably Strapp was MotM though. Great 3 points and we can look to Saturday's game with confidence. We play like that we will be afraid of no one
Cardle is Magic
Super couple of wins in a row for Morton.
Dunning1874
We should really have won that by 3 or 4 on the strength of the second half performance, but job done regardless. Feared the worst when Gillespie went off so early but Power was excellent. That was like watching Morton of last season again, the intensity gave Inverness no chance really and Strapp, Wilson & Oakley were all superb. That Inverness defence is obviously there to be gotten at. All four of them were bombscares, especially Ujdur and Davidson. I thought we needed 10 points from this month to get ourselves into a position where survival was realistic: we're already only 3 points off 5th with a game in hand and a trip to Airdrie coming up soon. The really encouraging thing is that they've not been smash and grab wins, we've been the better team in both games. The season can still be a mess from here, there are still obvious weaknesses and we need to be more clinical as we'll rarely have as many chances as that second half, but we've got a real chance to turn it round now with the three games left this month.
vikingTON
Inverness knocked the ball around well in the first half and also had a fairly impressive press. You can see why that combination produced a few good results in this nick of a division. We applied a better press though and so while the game quickly became an attritional dogfight, on tonight's effort and organisation we were always likely to get a least a point from it. The decisive factor was that Inverness fannied around with the ball too much and so got done for the first goal, should really have conceded another one when we hit the post and their keeper nearly dropped a bollock on a few other occasions as well. We were not at our very best but kept things safety first when required. Lots of magnificent, Sir David Irons approved set piece howitzers to both put Inverness under pressure and manage the game too.
