I went to Wigan a couple of times - one time we went to Wigan Pier only to find it wasn't really a pier. The 2nd time we went to an electronics fair and bought Sky+ and then had a nightmare getting it installed and I was convinced we'd been scammed.
Shandon Par
Ilario’s in Kincardine is excellent for a fish supper. Even the branding/packaging etc is way nicer than one may expect.

Dunfermline Don
What is folks view of ‘scraps’? I think it is a Yorkshire/NE English thing as I haven’t seen it anywhere else. My son loves them and I am surprised it isn’t a thing here. It’s basically those wee bits of batter left in the frier and heating rack that they put on top of your chip. I was slightly taken aback the first time I was asked ‘Do you want scraps?’ In a Whitby Chippy thinking I was being challenged to a square go outside!
