He also wants to call an immediate Holyrood election and upon securing a majority have MSPs dissolve the Union and get the UN to enforce it.

How much would that raise compared to now?

I assume you meant about the land tax, he explains it here if life isn't too short.

Without reading his book, it would appear that an international bank occupying a building of the same size as a homeless shelter would pay exactly the same total tax, likewise a pensioner living alone in a flat next door to one shared by a number of full time professionals. All taxes like corporation tax, income tax, capital gains, business tax etc would be abolished in favour of a land tax. And Scotland would become as rich as Norway and Switzerland.

It's ridiculously easy to get the nominations required, 100 members across 20 branches. Supposedly he picked them up at the AUOB march in Glasgow on Saturday.

Are there 100 members on here who could nominate Yogi?

Asking for a laugh..

I would but he's probably a Tory. Following the rabbit hole into Graeme McCormick's world there are some proper raging tartan gammons about with some very odd beliefs. My guess is that they got radicalised in lockdown, and have kept it going on Zoom ever since. Graeme applied for Party President position in 2021 but withdrew claiming he's ticked the box by mistake, then ran again last year, losing heavily.

Graeme McCormick pulls out and endorses John Swinney.

Can't blame him - he's a sexy, sexy man.

One conversation with Swinniesta is all it takes

Swinney probably just threatened to set a secret spy ring on him.

Two candidates have  now spoken with another candidate and subsequently withdrawn their leadership application. Would this be normal behaviour in politics where members deserve a choice and chance to put their points across. With the Snp shouting loudly about freedom and democratic choice they obviously don't do as they say.

Always amusing when the SNP BAD crew are out complaining that the party isn't divided enough for their liking  :P

It would be unusual behaviour if the alternative candidate was actually an MSP who could credibly become the first minister and not some armchair rent-a-gob.

Rent a gob = fellow member that actually still seems to care about independence being on the table. Had Kate Forbes not met the similar fate it could have been viewed as a one off. It seems Putin might even learn something from the dictatorial way the party is being governed
