The last time round, I think the exit poll ended up acurate to within +/- 5 seats for each party

Reform getting 8 seats is still a scary thought.

In historical terms 10 seats is still high for SNP.

Probs too many scandals for SNP recently (they rack up the longer in government of course) and I think there has been an attitude of anyone and everyone left leaning of jumping on a bandwagon of voting out Tories.

"Sir" Keir will be Blair-esque, not far off Tory and pretty blandly similar.

So you think that a guy who’s been in the job for a few weeks is to blame?

Doesn’t matter what I think, a result like that would demand heads rolling.

Embarrassing. Swinney surely can’t survive it.

BBC was shite without the likes of Dimbleby and looked quite cheap and nasty compared to the days of old. Channel 4 looked weird - was that Kwartang and Dorries? Not going to bother with stv. Will check in at 4ish and see how it looks.

Can they bin Swinney after only 6 weeks?

Pinning it on Swinney seems harsh. The party have no idea how to get independence. They’ve done f**k all with 50 MPs. Government at Holyrood has got shit and pissed folk off. Nicola and her man and their campervan. The Fred West blue tents in the garden. GRA bill. Ferries. Yousless FM. That’s the background. Just cause P&B still believes doesn’t mean the public at large do. This place is an outlier.

Any party that’s been in goverment as long as they have is likely to scunner the electorate sooner or later. But they would have thought their share might have held up higher than that

You'd have thought around 15 seats would have been about the worst case disastrous scenario for the SNP. If they've gone as low as 10 then along with the Labour surge it's possibly even going to actually be a decent night for the Tories in Scotland despite the collapse elsewhere?

Had a hopeful moment there when it seemed Ann Widdecombe was going to snuff it live on Channel 4, but no such luck.

A lot of seats in Scotland will be tight, but I'd be surprised if the SNP end up with 10 or less. Complete disaster for them, but not surprising given the scandals. They had the most open of goals and have fucked it right in to Row Z. Only got themselves to blame.

He shouldn't have got the job in the first place. Can't see who would be the obvious person to replace him though.
