Rule of thumb used to be a proper dog got in the way if standing in front of the telly. Doesn't really work with wall-mounting. Brother Blades Posted July 20, 2021 Share Posted July 20, 2021 When you phone a takeaway to make an order for collecting so that, by the time you drive or walk along your food is ready for you and you don't have to sit about for 15 minutes.... especially if it's something like a pizza which takes prep and cooking time or a large order for a few people.. ...only for you to walk in after the 15 minutes or so since you phoned and they decide then to start cooking your order, they haven't even prepped it, never mind cooked it, rendering the whole point of the phone call to place the order so it's ready for you to collect, utterly pointless. I have, on recollection walked out of a takeaway on at least one occasion when this has happened.
