What's Jason Roy been up to then? Seems a bit odd the nature of the offence hasn't been disclosed. Thought at first it was drugs but he'd have to get an actual ban rather than a suspended one

I wouldn’t be shocked if his “indefinite break” is actually a domestic ban. That’s how they handled Hales’s first drug ban.

In the Sheffield Shield in Hobart today Tasmania’s Sam Rainbird took 8/21 in 14.5 overs in the first innings to restrict Queensland to 104. This is the best Tasmanian bowling performance and the most economical 8 wicket hail in 164 years of the Shield.

Robinson to miss the final test so look forward to another draw with England incapable of taking 20 wickets over 5 days

Some job getting paid to go to the Caribbean for a month and do f**k all.

Never saw the end of Pakistan's innings yesterday, but they lost their last 7 wickets for just 20 runs as Starc and Cummins ripped through them.

Australia on to 120-1 and building a hefty lead.
Pakistan set 351 to win, which in 4 sessions is definitely doable. They probably need to get to the close without losing any wickets. Khawaja once again showing some real form with an unbeaten 104 in the second Aussie innings

Welcome back to the real England. Trundling along at less than 2RPO, needlessly playing at everything, throwing wickets away and generally making things easy for a powderpuff attack.

Nice to see some things can still be relied upon in these uncertain times.

England doing well here.

Oooft, it kinda had that inevitability that if you can't take your chance when your on top (last week) it'll come back to bite you.

Having said that we don't know how the England bowlers will utilize the pitch...

Great performance by the English tail, but how will the pitch play today with the Windies batting?

Edit: 41-0 after 14 overs, looks like the pitch might be quite benevolent for the next coupla days - the issue is whether it will start to disintegrate in time for either side (prob'ly the Windies atm) to force a win?

Edit: Lunch - West Indies 71/3 - pretty close now, at least we should a "result".

Maybe, just maybe we were a little harsh on England? Or is it just two poor teams cancelling each other out?

It’s definitely a trickier wicket to bat on. I’m not sure that it is to the extent that these batting lineups have shown though.

Stumps on Day 2 and Windies have nudged into a 28 run lead with two wickets left.
Windies were 95-6, so definitely a chance missed by England to have a lead.

Yesterday's performance by Leach and Mahmood was the first time since 1885 that a team's number 10 and 11 were their two top scorers.
