Benjamin_Nevis
DeChambeau telling the golf channel that he sees Augusta as a par 67 course [emoji38] This could be quite a week... Hopefully the precursor to a pair of 76s and a hilarious missed cut.

Distant Doonhamer
Hard to see anyone who doesn't hit it a mile winning given how soft the conditions seem to be. Please not Bryson
Wee-Bey
Showers predicted, but warm too, highs of 26°. They have what's considered the best sub air system in the world, so the greens will be as close to their usual on the weekend at least. Obviously hitting it miles is a massive advantage, but it's the week's best approach player and/or putter who usually wins, more than any other course in the world it's vital to leave the ball on the right side of the hole. High ball flight is key too. Of course, all this still points to Bryson, but it won't be like Winged Foot. Everyone was in the rough there, so it was a massive advantage being 20-30 yards further up, the better ball strikers may be able to counter that here. Other straws to be clutched at are that not since Tiger in his prime has a short priced, single digit favourite won here and De Chambeau has also generally putted like dogshit at Augusta previously.
SandyCromarty
We got an e-mail from the Masters tournament letting us know the online shop was available until the 15th of November, I see the shirts are up to $85 this year. Found a good selection of tournament products though the bag tags don't show the year as they do usually.
Netan Sansara
Can’t see past DeChambeau for this weekend. It’s not as if distance is his only strength to his game. During his practice rounds the longest he left himself was something like 185 yards on a Par 5. I think if he keeps his accuracy up he will cruise it.

He can be wild off the tee. Hopefully he will be wild here often enough for it to be crucial.

Just can’t see past him from his practice rounds, but time will tell.
Wee-Bey
Hope he goes for this on 13 and makes a c**t of it.
lichtie23
I like that we are against Bryson. Such a thoroughly dislikable bloke
lichtie23
I’m reading thst players aren’t allowed using a “greens book” this week. Bryson loves analysing them things

Mark Connolly
Thought the comments were a bit daft for someone who is a supposed to be a real deep thinker around the game. Augusta National is the course that once banned a commentator for calling the patrons "fans", and the folk there are still spiteful enough that they could move the flags/tee boxes around a bit to deliberately f**k over one player. That would be such a shame if it happened.
peasy23
Tradition now for players to try and skip one across the water at 16 in the practice rounds, Rahm did this today.
Mark Connolly
That's just reminded me there will be no crowd noise on 16 on Sunday
Wee-Bey
Bryson saying 67 is par round here for him. That would be -20 and the 72 hole record. If he shoots a 72, I hope that someone in the media has the balls to say. 'Well Bryson, 5 over today, what went wrong ?'
