Craig fae the Vale
Bought a box of Brewdog Lost Lager to take to my dad's on Boxing Day. Not going now, so started on them tonight. Passable, and I'll happily drink the box with no problems. Nothing special, but fairly decent.

Comrie
Passable IPA. The taste is possibly a tiny bit too hoppy/bitter, but it's not a bad start to Christmas Eve. They were £5 for a fridge pack, so I appreciate that as well. Edited December 24, 2020 by Comrie
The Naitch
Had a go at the Double Disco IPA tonight. Nice flavour and enough of a kick at 7.5% but not as drinkable as the frankly glorious Disco Forklift Truck.

MONKMAN
Just sampled some of @Bairnardo Christmas ale, while watching ET. Not my thing, but I’m sure ale drinkers would find it more than palatable. His previously brewed Helles was excellent though. Just about to crack open a bottle of wine and watch home alone.
Craig fae the Vale
Thick, juicy and some hints of spice. Another knockout from Overtone
Fratelli
Got a few different bottles delivered yesterday, mostly German and Belgian stuff. Kicking off with this tonight. The good gear. Few of those will no doubt lead to the Aldi Baileys getting cracked open (the real good gear).
Bairnardo
My weissbier is all carbed up, but maybe just a few days from being totally ready. Still pleased with it. Chase this down with a stout then Santas dram which luckily for him is no less than a Glendronach 21.
Le Tout P'ti FC
Chilling in the walk-outside fridge. Tasting magnificent. Fyne Ales are my heroes.

Nice present from a generous customer. Good call. Tesco currently doing Woodford at £20 a bottle, with a limited edition ‘Christmas’ label. I recently invested in a bottle, as can be seen in the attached photo of my current bourbon selections*. Sitting here with a 1792, real coke, one ice cube, and the new Elvis Costello ‘Clockface’ album on. I’ve had worse Christmas Eve nights. Yo ho ho everybody. *Have mentioned before, but I simply cannot even smell a good Scotch whisky without feeling like I’m going to be sick, much less drink one. I absolutely love bourbon though. Have met a few folk exactly the same. Was explained to me that I could be allergic to the grain generally used in our Scotch, but I’m OK with boubon. Could be bullshit, could be a grain of truth in it... pun fully intended. Anyway, sad as it is, even the finest single malt would be wasted on me, I can’t even smell it in the bottle, before acting like it’s the final whistle of the 2010 League Cup Final all over again. Merry Christmas everyone, whatever your tipple is, enjoy it. Especially this year.

Bought a hat from them this week as well to help support the business. Moved onto this juice bomb by Neon Raptor, another strong showing from them.
