  1. I realise this may be a stupid question, but I'll ask anyway. My wife dropped her Samsung Galaxy S phone down the cludgie and, strangely enough, it has stopped working. It has worked a couple of times since the cludgie incident, but in general seems to be gubbed. Is there any way of bringing this poor phone back to life, or is it destined for the great big phone cemetery in the sky?
  2. Let's hope the town slowly slips into the North Sea as a result of the rain.
  3. I have removed lichtieforlife from 'Ignore'. Time will tell if this is a good idea or not.
  4. Had exactly the same last night. The burd proceeded to lock him out of the flat so he was shouting and swearing to get back in again, went outside and started shouting up at the window, smashed the window on the door of the communal entrance and kicked the flat door in and shouted and banged around for a while again. Police eventually arrived but by this time the burd and her young daughter had left. The c**t better be getting the front door fixed.
  5. I wasn't generalising, just going on the basis of your posts. You may well not be a 'drama queen' in real life, but it's certainly how you come across on here.
  6. Thank goodness, I can relax now in the knowledge that the latest drama in your disaster-ridden life has been sorted out.
  7. Daughter waking up at 10.30pm last n ight and not going back to sleep until about 1.30am. I am shattered.
  8. I love the Guildford in particular, spent many a happy evening in there partaking in post-work libations. The stairs are being worked on at the moment with a view to building an escalator from Princes St to the train station. Can't wait because those stairs are an absolute killer, especially for someone as unfit as me.
  9. The MacDonalds is no longer there and it isn't the start of Rose St (which starts at the Sainsburys Metro on St Andrew's Square), but I totally agree re the Guildford and Cafe Royal, two cracking pubs.
  10. f**k, that bogbeast is horrific. She has a face like a welder's bench.
  11. There is a burd that I have on FB that is a nice, friendly helpful woman and generally a good egg. However, she went and spoiled it all by posting "Sometimes it's great being a Christian".
  12. I have heard urine is good for this. The alkaline nature of piss counteracts the acidity of the Bru.
  13. My sister also uses Glasvegas whenever she refers to Glasgow. It is extremely annoying. Next time I see her I am going to punch her in the face.
  14. I like the uniforms the German military wore in WWII.
  15. I think this weekend I will try and get some golf in. I have a golf day at Bathgate next week and haven't played an 18 hole course since last year. Managed a couple of rounds on the par 3 course a couple of weeks ago which wasn't too bad (I am pretty rubbish though), so am dreading next week. Anyone played Bathgate? What can I expect? I wish this bloody wind would go away as well.
  16. Haven't been out for ages, need to get going again to shift some weight.
  17. You're starting to sound like the legendary Catchphrase presenter Roy Walker.
  18. It really pisses me off how fruity chewing gum doesn't hold it's flavour anywhere near as long as minty gum.
