  1. I watched the original recently and it's not that good, certainly not as good as I recall, so it was perhaps worthy of a better remake. This wasn't it. Hannigan is supposed to be grotesque, not Cameron Diaz. Also, "Hard Knock Life" changed the lyrics to "foster home" instead of "orphanage" which didn't have the same Dickensian impact. Coupled with the fact that the foster home looks lovely and it feels a bit incongruent. I pure fancy Rose Byrne though. 10/10
  2. Aye this is exactly it. Fletcher is probably exactly the same as McTominay. Same type of player, same skill level and same gangly b*****dness too. I would put Ferguson before Brown any day of the week, but I'm not sure who I'd take him for, perhaps McGregor, but he wasn't as quick or athletic. Christian Dailly too, just because we seem to be lacking in a loveable big huddy since O'Donnell was last capped. I bloody love this team.
  3. I actually don't think Leighton would make it mainly as he was the world's worst with the ball at his feet, and that's a big part of being a keeper in our system. Who would Collins come in for? Perhaps McGinn, but not for wee Billy or McTam. In terms of striker aye, MoJo mibbe, but not super. While Hendry would be a shoo-in, I don't think any of the rest of your mentions (or mine) would be guaranteed to get in. It's a great feeling tbh.
  4. That Aberdeen away shirt is an all timer. A beautiful football shirt.
  5. Jealous he doesn't have enough hair for this type post .
  6. That was fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Is there hair a bit too long as well auld yin?
  8. I've been thinking this for a while. We're the best we've been in my lifetime (I'm 40) and across the board we're excellent. The question for me is who would you swap in from past sides? Perhaps Willie Miller or Andy Goram, but even then Goram couldn't kick. Perhaps Joe Jordan or Mo Johnstone? Dalgleish instead of Christie? Not sure, but I think we're a top side now. More importantly, we believe that we are.
  9. For those of us who dinna hae twitter, fit's happened?
  10. That Falkirk home top is a belter. Reminds me of the mid 90's when you had Richard Cadette playing for you.
  11. Aye I'm needing a wee time out in a sensory room after reading that post.
  12. Depends whose mammy your good lady is Granda.
  13. He's an incredible athlete who shows absolutely no signs of slowing down. I honestly would love to know what he eats on a daily basis. I remember Jermaine Defoe going vegan to prolong his career and I love the new image of a Scottish player being one who eats a shit-tonne of edamame beans rather than fish suppers.
  14. Hopefully they've got a far right government in place by this time next year and will have this ironed out.
  15. I think the demise of a lot of teams can be exaggerated. After we heroically dispatched of them, Serbian fans went into a bit of an existential meltdown. They seem to be fine now.
  16. I thought you were all doing that Wales 2016 team a disservice, but I had a look and, aside from Bale, Ramsey and maybe Allen it's a very workmanlike team but no more. Williams is an excellent CB, but out wide they're mediocre and they had the Welsh Lyndon Dykes up front in Hal RK. I had a look at that Belgium team too and I remember before we played them in qualifying we were genuinely scared of them. I look at that team now and think that there isn't a single player (aside from perhaps De Bruyne and maybe Lukaku as he was then) that I would take in our team. And none that I feel are worth fearing. It's been a nice psychological shift tbh.
  17. Building a touring bicycle over the winter for next summer. Seems like this is lining up perfectly.
