For a girl who had all sorts of anxiety / separation issues growing up, not wanting to go to school for fear of 'new things' I couldn't have been more proud! All the best for her last year at wee school. Weans are resilient as f**k.

Destroying every belief I have about sending kids who are born late in the intake Callander going at 5.5. She's more than ready and was probably one most confident there! Her big brother is a sept baby and he had a deferred year, each kid is different. oh and last night she came out with "mummy you're a penis, I love you" I am a December baby and started in August at 4 1/2 and I coped fine. I agree it depends on the child. ETA: this was in 1969 mind you...... Edited June 18, 2017 by Raidernation

fanny paddery
Wife and I are both big F1 fans. How reasonable would it be to take our daughter, who will have turned one the week before, to a race next year. Will she sit long enough during the race to make it worthwhile for us going, and what are feeding schedules like at that age?
RH33
Get a babysitter.

Honest Saints Fan
I'd agree. Find a baby sitter. Catherine is one and won't sit still for 5 minutes. Her feeding schedule is the same as ours though. Lunch, breakfast, dinner and a couple snacks. Napping eould be my issue. No fucking chance she'd sleep.
fanny paddery
Babysitter doesn't really work when we live in Sydney and the race is in Melbourne [emoji107]

Sweet Pete
My daughter was born on Wednesday night. A wee smasher. She's a touch jaundiced so they've kept her in but there's a chance they'll get home tonight. I'm fair thrilled.

BFTD
This might sound like a stupid question, but nothing new there. Anyone else feel guilty when they see their kids going through similar problems to the ones that they did? Had a really bad week with the wean, and I'm stuck with The Fear at the moment.
Nkomo-A-Gogo
Going in tomorrow morning to have number 2. Missus has been crying on and off all day. I have a voucher for free parking all day at the hospital and I have a little soft cushion I'm bringing for my bum because I was told to get off the birthing ball last time. Just better prepared in general this time. Still nervous though.
Nkomo-A-Gogo
Baby Isla has been borned. Seems very happy, stretching, sneezing. So happy. Dat placenta tho [emoji43] They left it sitting on a tray for ages just wobbling away.
