Quick Question Thread

Recommended Posts

The one close to the train station does, was up working at the end of last year and stayed there, not sure what street it's on, maybe castle street. There used to be a pub across from it called the husband creche a few year ago, I do remember that because it was called something else now

Clyde play Cove away on a Tuesday night April, looking to stay in Aberdeen overnight. Anyone know if the bar in the travelodge is 24 hour?

Bridge Street? Opposite the Bridge Bar (which if memory serves didn’t use to have a cludgie for the ladies)

The abbreviation NAP has appeared on here over recent times, what does it mean? I cannot for the life of me work it out.

When newspaper racing tipsters list their picks for all the races at a meeting they put (Nap) after the one they’re most confident of

According to google it originally comes from a French Card game where a “Napoleon” was the best possible hand.

Stands for "not a problem" apparently.

I thought that initially, but it didn't stand up contextually.

Was going to ask if Granny Danger was still alive. Stumbled across him there on a thread about the resignation of the Tory leader, where he (GD) claims not to be a fan of giving oral sex. Alive and still enjoying the white rioja (not euph) it seems.

The Sunday Post used to use the phrase "going nap" when a team scored five goals in a match. Based on the card game, apparently, where the aim is to take five tricks.

Always a favourite of the Irvine Times and the Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald alongside the more specific Oh Dear, Ardeer.

How can I transfer something from DVD to my ipad?

You'll need to put it on your computer, convert it to a format iTunes will recognise and then sync it from there.
