Probably not as he's old in the one I saw. Turned on the TV one night and saw the most brutal (and probably entertaining) 5-10 mins in cinema history.

He slices some guy's belly open as they both watch his intestines (or whatever they are) fall to the ground.

Are you sure it wasn't highlights of the Largs v Glenafton Junior Cup Final you saw?!

I also watched a film last night where a guy was sliced open with a sword and his internal organs fell out - The Devil's Double about Uday Hussein.

Think it’s just called Rambo. A reboot made about 10 years ago.

Rambo III was notorious for a while for having the most on-screen deaths per minute, although I can't imagine anyone's ever sat through all the films ever made with a calculator.

I've only ever seen First Blood, and just got a very old box set of the first three. The new one was dubbed Rambo: Last Blood, which is a terrible name, especially considering Stallone's guaranteed to make another where he liberates a Vietnamese nursing home or something.

the recently released Rambo Last Blood which if you've seen it is like a mix of Taken, the Saw films and Home Alone.

That sounds class; might just skip to that one. Ta.

You have Rambo - First Blood, Rambo 2, Rambo 3, then ten years ago you had Rambo 4 then the recently released Rambo Last Blood which if you've seen it is like a mix of Taken, the Saw films and Home Alone and it's awful.

Stop getting Rambo wrong.

You have:  First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, Rambo 3, Rambo, Rambo: Last Blood

He's a terrible actor but was always in mighty fine shape.

He put in an excellent performance in Copland.

And the first Rambo film is often lumped in with the cartoonish follow ups, but it's a great movie and performance from Sly.

eta: and the first Rocky film, and the recent Rocky Balboa are great companion pieces.  The Creed films too, to a lesser extent.

He was excellent in Cop Land but I really think his most under rated performance came in STOP! Or My Mom Will Shoot. A disgrace the Academy ignored him in that classic.
