But, he is worth almost the difference in revenue between the Championship and League One, because as one of our better players him not being here could be the difference between promotion and another season in this league. I would rather we refused to sell and he left for free, in order to maximise our promotion chances. The disappointing thing is the valuation Is likely about right. Maybe we could push for £50k, but that's about it. We're not in a strong bargaining position and the player likely wants to leave (good opportunity, higher league, maybe European football on the future, has to take a pay cut here etc).
