What a bizarre comment. Firstly I feel for the lad, must be gutted getting injured in the first 10 minutes at international level, but I know that's not what you're getting at. Secondly, he is a fantastic option from the bench and would be great for him to get some first team game time in preparation for next season which I think Houston had planned for him. Finally, we have Baird, Miller & McHugh as our strikers. If we play 2 up front as has been said that leaves us with only one other straight swap option. At this stage in the season when we have a lot to play for, I for one would be bothered with any sort of injuries to our squad.

 

Does anyone know the extent of the injury ?
