I don’t know what’s worse, that you pulled out the “drug laundering money” line or that you came on your own club’s thread to whinge about how your post telling fans of another club not to get too excited about next season didn’t exactly go down well.

StuartA
I still think Raith are the team to beat this season, though they’ll now have the weight of expectation on them.

What is this 'drug laundering money issue' various lines (excuse the pun) and versions of what went on. What's the fans take on what happened. Genuine question, not stirring the pot. Dont think you’re far off, however it’s a league where every team will fancy a top four finish. Livingston could potentially be a dark horse. One thing for sure it’s going to be a cracking league.

Being serious and without wishing to turn the Falkirk thread into a discussion about Raith, @Enigma is right and while our footballing budget no doubt did get a boost after the takeover, it won't have been to the level imagined by fans of other teams. It's worth noting that a lot of our best performers from last season were already at the club: Vaughan, a product of the youth system coming back from injury, Stanton - an underwhelming McGlynn signing who seemed to get better and better under Murray, Brown and Easton - both signed from lower league clubs. Other important performers did come in, like Dabrowski, Hamilton, Byrne and Euan Murray but that would have been partly offset by removing costly under performers like Gullan and Ross wholly or partially from the wage book, as well as McDonald who won't have been cheap to keep around either. As said didn’t really take hold of the chances he got, tbf he was brought in for cover, and suspect didn’t cost us much. Good luck to the guy. Most of us on here don’t give a shit about Rangers season ticket holders or the fact Celtic fans don’t get into Ibrox anymore so can you take it elsewhere please. He was brought in as a cheap back up as I don't believe the Peterhead fans had much good words about him. Didn't get much gametime at all but in the games he did play he was far too eager to get rid of the ball and a bit too gung ho in the tackle too. Alfie Bavidge teared him a new arsehole away at Kelty in February.
