(Well, in the way anyway) He said he had offers out to 6 targets and it's beginning to look like they've all told him to bolt, unless maybe he was a wee bit over optimistic with his timings? For the something that is "not quite right" you need to look above the manager. And he should not have promised an exciting 10 days. Still its easy to say that with hindsight. Every season Hartley was with us and indeed with Alloa, he'd have his squad pretty much completed by the beginning of June if possible with only tinkering being done afterwards. Seems strange. We've signed two players who had actively been freed by their clubs in England, we are hoping we are looking at players who's contracts are yet to run out in a couple of weeks.
