Annoying things people write on Facebook

Since when was Lidl seen as a jakey shop? It's a great place to do your food shopping.

It’s probably because a Lidl marks out your area as being a bit on the Low-Rent side. Low rents being one of the reason they’re good value

People of Giffnock, wherever that is, might be happy to shop in Lidl but that doesn’t mean they want to be seen to live near one

Similarly people might welcome the cachet of having a local Waitrose even if they’ve no actual interest in paying £4.79 for a jar of artisanal pesto

It's absolutely marvellous imo, top notch selection of clarets and continental charcuterie to die for.

How does one go about getting a job that consists of taking screenshots of Facebook threads, then typing out exactly what everybody in the thread has said? Seems like there are some cracking media jobs around for folk who aren't keen on work.

Waitrose would overnight be considered jakey central if they dropped their prices to similar levels.

Lidl are great value and quality compared to places like Tesco and Asda, but here's the popular opinion of them from about ten years ago..

Never bought any wine from them but take a walk there about 1x a month just to buy a selection of air-cured meats and olives.  Delicious.
