Kyle
Broadfoot's on holiday until Thursday I think so it won't be him. Equally, I think Edu is in the states. Does Rangers' pre-season not start on Thursday? Is he going to no show?

KillieRaider
Some movement on the 'attempt to set up the staunchest league ever' front tonight. staunchest what though? There are as many green and grey hoops groupies in ayrshire as there are deluded ex-gers. These OF fans just don`t get that there are 3 thirds in the scottish football fanbase: the OF two and the rest of us who hate them both.
wunfellaff
so why can wallace go to the newco? couldnt hearts try and take him back or anything as there fee hasnt been paid? My gut feeling is it is because of the feck up regarding his situation, if he went it would be worse, and he might not be able to play anywhere. If he stays, gets a transfer, it might still be messy, but sortable.
The Left Wing
I reckon Davis, Fleck, McGregor & Bocanegra.
capt_oats
I'd have thought Bocanegra, McGregor and Edu would be out the door pretty soon
kiddy
It's been drawn and arrangements made. Raith fans are going to Wick!! If Dundee/Dunfermline didn't continue participation or their opponents weren't byed, Rangers can take-over their tie. Ah, but you can't have Sevco playing in the North/East region. That's only in the remit of Falkirk, at the expense of Stenny & the Shire. This is only possible, largely due to phenomenon known locally as "The Langlees Triangle". itzdrk
Some movement on the 'attempt to set up the staunchest league ever' front tonight. what a random jumble of teams for our part we're SFL as f**k
HibeeJibee
is the first round not regionalised? It was, yes, but why should that matter? Rangers taking-over a NE tie is surely the far lesser evil compared to a complete last-minute redraw. EDIT: Although given the choice I'd simply let Dundee/Dunfermline play on. wunfellaff
is the first round not regionalised? Probably, but as newcorpse will need to rent a ground they could play anywhere
stucommando
"I hope the directors of those clubs sought legal advice first. Their main duty is to promote the success of their company..." THIS GUYS A TRUMPET A. there was a two thirds swell of fans saying they would not go back to a game if the new company got into the league. I wouldnt go to an "old firm" game ever again if that happened, as they are not Rangers and have not won their right to be there like every other team currently in the SPL has. B. SKY's position seems to be that they wont come out altogether, far too many jocks watch premiership matches to rattle our cages by doing that. and even if new company stayed IN, they would have to undergo massive staff cuts to operate anywhere near the profit line - resulting in reduced success and reduced attendance from the "loyal fans - it is a proven fact through the years when teams, regardless of how well supported, dont do well the crowds and interest diminish. As does the money coming in. C. enough evidence from Rangers fans that THEY would boycott away games if they stayed in because everyone is the baddies apart from them. 4. If this new hybrid came into the SPL and were in danger of going down does that mean it would be the company directors primary motive to ensure their team threw matches so Rangersofgovan could stay in the league because they, by this stage, would be bringing in 30,000 fans to Ibrox matches than Aberdeen currently get for their home games? THE GUY IS SPECULATING AS NOONE KNOWS THE TRUE FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS OF THE ORCS LEAVING - OR STAYING AS FANS WILL VOTE WITH THEIR FEET.

Witold Sygula
This goes out to the charming band of currants I happened upon in Sauchiehall Street this afternoon. They fit the image of the arrogant biggoted bully boys that has made this thread such a joy to behold. You probably won't be reading this guys, but just remember, your club is dead, gone forever, doesn't exist. No SPL football for the likes of you for a long long time. This songs for you.........
