Johnstoun
Can anyone confirm if Sevco will be playing in the Southampton tournament or not? Can anyone confirm if TheScarf is too lazy to read the last half dozen pages?
Johnstoun
Twitter from the Greenock Telegraph - Dougie Rae has stated Newco must start in the 3rd division. Pleasing. He just needs to add 'if they meet the entry requirements which would be expected of any other club'.
roverthemoon
Apologies if posted already but we are all Turnbull Hutton "We have been inundated with emails from fans and season-ticket holders. "With what is happening with the SPL clubs, it seems to have been punted on to the SFL clubs to solve the problem, a problem which is none of our doing. But, personally, my view was that I would have difficult supporting any move to put Rangers in the First Division given the history of what has happened. "This is the same Rangers whose supporters threatened to torch our stadium and whose manager demanded that one of our directors was named over his involvement with an SFA judicial panel, which resulted in TV cameras camping outside his door and threats being made by various outlandish factions. Given that, how could I, as an individual, be expected to roll over and have my tummy tickled by some inducement to allow Rangers to come into the First Division? I gave my opinion to the board on Monday night and the board had a position which was not in any way different from my own. "That does not mean if and when there is a meeting of the SFL clubs and a vote that the outcome will go the way we want it to go. I imagine some clubs will see some short-term advantage to be had. Do you sell your position for 30 pieces of silver for some short-term advantage or take the moral high ground? Savage Henry
Indeed. And part of the problem is that Green seems to have tried to unilaterally transfer all of the contracts on 14th June, so I'd imagine there are no remaining ties to the oldco there. I'd be amazed if Goian or Wallace ever play for Rangers again.

Claymores
Just been asked my opinion on the situation by a Sevco-supporting client. I tried to make it as simple as possible, and said "They owe a lot of people a lot of money, and if they're not going to pay it they shouldn't be allowed to continue in any form". I was informed. "You're a bigot. It's a different form of bigotry, but you're all disgusting bigots". LOL - I'm surprised he didn't just term you a tarrier which seems to be the generic term for anyone who isn't a 'Rangers man'. I enjoyed an exchange of comments on that site "Rangers Rumours" last night...............a Cevco FC fanboy was greetin' that he'd forked out £200 on flights to Southampton which was non-refundable so he'd never see his money again. The best response was: "Now you've got a small flavour of how Rangers creditors feel"
craigkillie
Decided to buy tickets to the Southampton tournament just to see what sort of embarrassing line-up Sevco Rangers have when they play the big boys.

MEADOWXI
Can anyone confirm if Sevco will be playing in the Southampton tournament or not? Not going - but did No.8 not have accommodation booked, wonder if he stick it on ebay for an Anderlecht fan or choose to support Anderlecht.

Legendary Am i being pernickity here..... I wouldn't support it over an application from a club which meets all the criteria set out in the SFL guidelines. The only thing that should be guaranteed to Sevco is that they will be given the application form. Otherwise, the statements coming from Starks Park are making me a very proud man! ankles
As for Rangers tops. I have to be careful at work, a retail outfit, when I see them. The temptation to rip the pish would get me in bother. One of best things in dealing with our customers at work is that i dont have to bother with all the PC nonsense when talking to them so i can rip the pish out of anyone i want. I can't wait to talk to lorry drivers with Rangers stuff all over them

Bigotry is the state of mind of a "bigot", a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices, especially one who exhibits intolerance or animosity toward members of a group.[1] Bigotry may be based on real or perceived characteristics, including sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, nationality, region, language, religious or spiritual belief, personal habits, political alignment, age, economic status or disability. Bigotry is sometimes developed into an ideology or world view. Yep, you're a bigot
