Chic Young just announced that Hamilton are looking at relegations in successive seasons.

I'm stunned they're talking about other games tbh

OAM an absolute nonsense there. Announced VAR check at Tannadice, ball looks as though it hit defender's hand, yes it's a penalty.

At no point did they say who the penalty was potentially for until they said McGrath was going to take it. Even then you had to know who he played for.

You can see the logic in having a retired referee on, ostensibly they should be providing expertise and will improve the quality of discussion as a result, but all this is leading to is even more discussion of VAR, which should have been impossible.

Stewart was ridiculous there. Supposed to be covering the Dundee United v Ross County game, goes on another VAR diatribe which is unrelated to the game he's covering, breaks it off mid-sentence to say 'oh Ross County have scored" then 10 seconds later he's back to talking about VAR.

They discussed who should be manager of the year. It went like this:

Michael Stewart: "Postecoglou."

Leann Crichton: "Postecoglou."

Steven Craigen: "Robinson did OK but Postecoglou".

Allan Preston: "Postecoglou."

Top discussion and debate there. Didn't expect anything to be fair but would be nice if they even talked about the other candidates, but then that would require them to know about the other candidates and other than McPake and Young winning their leagues, they almost certainly know nothing.

Leanne Crichton took the huff because Stewart couldn't believe she didn't think it was a penalty for Hearts. Tried to make a c**t of him, he gave her some back then she resorted to quietly making petty points.

Madden handled himself much better.

I’m fairly sure that’s the chorus from this year’s Greek Eurovision entry.

I enjoyed during the Old Firm game when MacIntyre was asking him what he thought of a handball incident in the game. Seemed a bit redundant for a radio audience who wouldn't (necessarily) have seen it.

Craig Levein just described Michael Stewart as "the poster boy for the intellectually challenged"!

They do that all the time as well. Several times per show someone will start screaming about a goal but take about a minute to spit out who the f**k it was for.

I suppose it’s an improvement from the last time he referred to him on sportsound as “och, that bellend?”

Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if Stewart and Levein sat down ages ago, had a chat and worked things out, are now fine with each other (without necessarily being pals) and have played up to it all since.

That would absolutely follow my impression of how modern day punditry works.
