On the plus side the top story in the English League One section is about St Mirren signing two players from Albion Rovers.

Aye, the story about Bradford trying to buy their way into the lucrative Scottish leagues via a St Mirren takeover has so far stayed beneath the radar.

Why else would a St Mirren story make it into the BBC's English League 1 section?  Answer me that.

Ah right. Makes perfect sense now. Cheers

I recall they did the same pish for the 50tth anniversary of the 1966 World Cup Final. Total waste of time and resources.

Jesus wept.

What's wrong with that? The lad has taken a season out to learn the assassin trade under the tutelage of the noted French hitman.

It's often noted that football is a short career and this guy is just trying to get a trade to fall back on once he's finished playing.

Why is the BBC convinced the Scottish football public give two hoots about what Scott McDonald thinks about helicopter Sunday? Earlier in the day they had a puff piece about how a referee told him to stop cheating. The interviewer was scandalised.

The Old Firm mindset just doesn't allow them to understand or believe that it makes absolutely no difference to the fans of the 40 other clubs whether it's Celtic dominating on their own or when Rangers were alive and challenging them. Having a bigot battle for the top two isn't going to stop fans of such as Saints, Ross County, Falkirk, Brechin, or Annan going to games.
