Prepare for a summer, autumn, winter and spring of discontent. Well, yeah, that's the plan, isn't it. When, oh when, will somebody stand up to these rogue unions, forcing fairly-paid workers to strike for no reason? Be a right laugh if they leave it to Keef to bring in more union-busting legislation, 'cause that deluded fucker will do it in the vain hope that the Home Counties will finally like him.

Does he mention that Novo Nordisk who are behind the "slimming" injection have a two year suspension from the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry for being in a "serious breach" of their code of practice? Not that a moral/ethical problem would stop that charlatan pocketing newspaper money for his Mail article and PR piece for Novo Nordisk, not mentioning them by name, just the Director. Probably has a two hour a week "job" for a couple of grand with them. Only a guess, mind you. But cheddar and chorizo, ffs

Pretty paltry stuff if true. I'm sure Mrs T managed 3p at one point, before taking it back elsewhere. That's the attitude of your run-of-the-mill Tory. If they think there's the slightest headroom in the budget, cut tax. To Hell with public services. Tell you what, Tories... you can have your next tax cut when- NHS diagnostic tests have a 10 day maximum wait The maximum urgent NHS operation waiting time is 4 weeks Nobody waits more than 3 days for a NHS GP or NHS dentist appointment. There'll be other improvements in public services and national infrastructure afterwards, but until those first ones are met, tax cuts can gtf. If they want more income, they can do what they tell every other poor b*****d to do... get another job.

AyrshireTon
Quite a bit of reaction to the parasite party video. My dad's neighbour couldn't have a proper funeral and these c**ts had a party. They can't survive this, but they probably will.

Dan Steele
My mum was in a care home with Alzheimer's. Then lockdown came and the last time my wife, my mum and I were all together was the day before no visitors were allowed. She died a month later. Her remaining family members couldn't travel due to restrictions. The only people at the crem were my wife, me, and the crem staff. And these fuckers are having a party. Get them as far to f**k as is possible. And yet Johnson still laughs, jokes, and makes millions. c**t.

Maybe I'm reading too much into what Gove said but I think they are trying to pivot to 'omg why did you actually go along with it'. He referred to people following the rules as people who accepted the 'curtailment of liberty'. I mean- people didn't accept it, it was made illegal. Tories seem to be going the right way to making Partygate an existential event for their party.

Tories seem to be going the right way to making Partygate an existential event for their party. That is exactly what they are trying to do. Efforts to make it old news and to minimise what the ask actually was of us all at the time. Vain hope that as time goes on, folk will forget it all. Problem they have is that unlike other events, which impacts the minority and the majority DO move on, this is something none of us can forget. Many had big life events impacted and you don't forget those. Others see the impact on their day to day and others around them. That video just adds a bit more to the pics we have already seen, but just reinforces that they think we were all 'lesser' people than them. Don't want to get all socialist etc as that's not my politics, but, these types are all bred to believe they are better than us. Nothing that happens to them is because of them. It's either pre determined if positive or if challenged by the public, it is others being jealous. A true Conservative would look at these people and be embarrassed for them. Those in charge of the country and the institutions at the moment are entirely self serving, so feel no shame. For those who get honours from Johnson, I suspect it might actually be something they come to regret. Will forever be badged as one of the folk who got a resignation honour from him and in a small part, their future standing will be linked to him and how he reacts from here. Kind of like the folk with Jim'll fix it medals..... Edited June 18, 2023 by Theyellowbox

Many had big life events impacted and you don't forget those. Others see the impact on their day to day and others around them. Simple use of the government minister response template Obvious f**k up about to happen = "It is too early to say" Obvious f**k up happening = "Now is not the time to assign blame" Obvious f**k up pointed out after it happened = "It is time to move on" Unfortunately I doubt any of these Sebastians and Jemimas will get any comeuppance for it. It's not like they're working at Grimethorpe and Boggs' Dog Pelt factory and the owner's had to explain the factory floor's a bit unhappy with them so he's had to let them go. Their next step will be interviewing for a job at some merchant bank or hedge fund setup for 250k basic for the ability to bray in a posh accent. The interview will be "bit of a kerfuffle with the christmas party, what? Never mind, Carruthers got caught with £50m of made-up PPE and he's retired to the Bahamas, which is why we need you. Welcome aboard old boy!" Edited June 18, 2023 by orfc
